i finished my sock.
it’s raining.
i have cast on another sock so that i don’t lose my momentum.
i am reading the book “driftwood valley” now and so is my mother. i am looking forward to discussing it with her.

yup. it’s a sock. no stripes. no pattern. no frills. a wool sock. I am nearly done with it and it has dawned on me…perhaps this is wool that will shrink. But i am going to keep right on going. finish it, knit another one and then wash them carefully in cold water and see [...]

still here, not much to say.
knitting and sewing and looking forward to cooler temperatures…. still at least 30 C. (86 F.) each day, but mornings and evenings are cooler and much more pleasant.
