yup. it’s a sock. no stripes. no pattern. no frills. a wool sock. I am nearly done with it and it has dawned on me…perhaps this is wool that will shrink. But i am going to keep right on going. finish it, knit another one and then wash them carefully in cold water and see what happens. Socks are fun!!!

Socks don’t need to be fancy, any pair that is homemade is a simple, everyday luxury which few can boast! Your feet will thank you in a few weeks when it is really cold! I have been knitting and knitting really lots this summer, funilly enough, while sunbathing!
