it’s nice to share.

neighbors cleaning out cupboards,

and friends with good taste!!!!!

quilt top in progress

unbelievably beautiful purple and teal batiks.

looks really boring in this photo!!!!

My mom and I used to go in to Bellingham to hear Linda Allen sing.  We’d go to Tony’s Coffee, or to the museum to catch a performance.  She sings about women.  Strong women.  ….

Peace is the feeling you have

when you’re hugged

Then you turn and hug

someone and the feeling is love

When the whole world is hugging,

oh, won’t that be fine?

There’ll be peace for all humankind

The colors in the quilt are just beautiful!! Is there any special meaning to the black?? My sister-in-law did that to our quilts to mark which quilt was which sibling’s…mine had 1 different square from the other two…I am “1 of 3”.
Rain, rain go away…really want the undokai to go as planned!!

yes, debbie, in the photo that one square looks black, it is actually a dark dark blue and I don’t know why i chose that. I think I made the dark blue one first and ran out… then I used the light blue stuff which is actually a roll of yukata cloth which i have lots and lots of…..the center of those four blocks is a seed packet….so i guess it is my garden quilt… not yet in mind for anyone….

sending a hug to tiki tiki.
