too many quilts and not enough time…

ok. so officially, I am working on finishing up three quilts right now…. the not quite crazy quilt….

half a quilt top

half a quilt top

i am going to quilt half of it… then do the other half…

a “work as you go” project.

THE GARDEN QUILT

queen size "garden quilt"

queen size "garden quilt"

my quilting posse is going to help me baste it
first we tape it to the floor
pull it out all straight
then baste the heck out of it…
then i can take it home and start on the quilting….
and finally……
THE RECYCLED PAJAMA QUILT
baby quilt....
baby quilt….

this one is made out of old pajamas, shirts and pants.

it will most likely be given to a boy because it is kind-of boy-like
it is soft and fuzzy on the other side….
I would like to get all three nearly quilted before it gets warm.  I probably have until about april or may before I can no longer stand to hold them…. then i will fold them up, put them away and see what speaks to me next.

these are gorgeous, I especially like the colors in the not quite crazy quilt. The red sashing just makes all the other colors dance.
