wow! kayla is looking so grown up…so pretty! there is such big difference between 11 year-old girls and 11-year-old boys!!

was it just me, or did it feel as if the sakura this year were waaay better than they have been in the past? it was almost story-book like everywhere! so lovely!!

She and the cherry blossoms are so lovely! We are still waiting for spring. Our blossoms are likely a month away! 🙂

jealous! I LOVE cherry blossom season in Japan. Feeling very natsukashii about the time you came to visit and we walked along that street by the old castle in Kagoshima. Those were the days!! 🙂

K is looking SO grown-up. Is very scary how much all our kids have changed in the past couple of years!

Jan! I don`t have your email but wanted to give you a quick heads up–there was a bit of a miscommunication between me and my mother. We`re actually arriving in Nagasaki on TUESDAY and leaving Wednesday. Hope that doesn`t mess up your schedule! I`ll give you a call today or tomorrow! –Mariko
