april showers bring may flowers…

alrighty then.

first up, some clematis. for my dad. he has one and it is flourishing

so i hope that mine will too….

clematis on the right.
two cucumbers on the left.

who wants to guess what they are going to climb……

ok then. i have been doing a bit of stitching lately.

slow and easy.

finished up a quilt…..

it kinda looks like the last two quilts i finished….

 

 

 

I think i will leave the pole there hanging between two trees…

you know, handy for hanging things on…like laundry!!!!

 today is my good friend Deb’s b-day….

so i would like to take this opportunity to say

  HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEB!!!!

    heh heh heh…i know what they are climbing and i’m wondering where the other end (and the two sides!) are??? ;-D

      the two ends are serving as a kind of head of the bed thing… side by side they are queen size width and the other side is up on a shelf in the garage… i will put it to use eventually.

    you are right mom, but there is no prize. how is dads clematis doing… i hope mine can grow HALF as big as the one that dad grew…

    I really like the Japanese blues with the bold reds on your quilt. Maybe next time you’re home we could do a swap – Japanese blue pieces for ??? Name it; I probably have it!!

    I was also going to guess your trellis is a baby crib side piece. Your cucumbers look healthy. Too cold here yet for veggies.

      i get most of my blue stuff from my mom, and she gets it from garage sales…. she still has some left, you should hit her up for some next time you visit…… hopefully sometime in August…..
