i wanted red all along, but he didn’t ask me. He asked all the kids then he decided on a metallic gray/silver… which he ordered and then we started waiting (they said it would take a few months…) then a few weeks in, Yuki asked Kayla what color she wanted, she said red, he called and asked to change the color, so they did… we just got it on saturday.

Nice car. Just think how much oldest son will enjoy driving it sooner than you think!! Did you keep the other car for you? Are the roses more treasures left by the previous owner?

oldest son won’t be driving for years yet…. and ridiculous car inspection fees make it impossible to hang on to older cars as second vehicles. that’s one reason why Yuki bought a new one, time for an inspection and financially it just made sense… The roses came home from one of yuki’s trips as a present for Kayla… I dug them up from our old yard and brought them here in pots… they survived and thrived!! See you soon WA cousin!!

So at what age do kids start driving? They get learner permits at 15 around here. Bummer about not keeping a car for you.
