if it’s saturday, it must be family night around the “irori” table!!!!

just serious eating.

nah. i just eat whatever is left over in the fridge or grill some bread with cheese…. the meal is kind of hectic but i like sitting around after everyone is done and relaxing by the fire.

For me this looks like a typical family meal. I tried to take photos for the American audience and well…even I was not right. Unless they are hamming it up for the camera with the V-sign and ridiculous grins, this is the real deal. Love to see it. Your kids look like mine. Thanks for putting me in your “They’re in Japan…” category. I am catching up on everything but would love to be closer in touch.

hi Nancy. and ditto to all that. I don’t allow any peace signs in any photos i take of family. and, in this house..this is a totally typical family meal. however. there are lots of photos of ridiculous grins!!
